It was announced recently that all Scottish Government funding has now ceased in supporting SHN in delivering the Welfare Reform Service. In light of this, SHN will continue to run Forums but on a slightly reduced basis. There will continue to be 3 Forums, but only 3 times per year. There will also now be a nominal charge of £70 per person + VAT for any delegate attending from a non member organisation.
The proposed dates for North Forums this year are:- 1 March 2018. Invitations and full booking details will be sent out nearer the time.
We are delighted to announce that our next North Welfare Reform Forum will take place at the Spectrun Centre, 1B Margaret Street, Inverness.
Invitations to the event and booking details will be here w/b 10 September 2017.
The event is open to all Social Landlords in Scotland and is free to all SHN members. Any non-members wishing to attend will be charged a nominal fee of £75 + VAT per person.
The Forums cover a range of subjects on Welfare Reform and Universal Credit and a light lunch and refreshments will be served on the day.
Places do fill very quickly and early booking is recommended.
