The Protocol documents are used to establish effective assessment and service provision pathways which avoid duplication between professions, supports extended roles, and ensure a responsive equipment intervention at the right time for the person.

These simple scenarios are examples of some of those used with Partnerships to help them explore what extended roles and simplified pathways may look like. Partners are encouraged to develop their own examples which they can use within stakeholder sessions, and Training to support the development and roll-out of improved pathway arrangements.
